My work can be described as urban fine art. I am a stickler for rule breaking and pushing boundaries, so I try to let that seep into my work from time to time.

BIO | Someone was told me if you do what you have always done, you would get what you’ve always got. I have never been one for sticking to rules… I find them boring and restrictive. I afford myself the liberty of drawing inspiration from various mediums, I find cubism through the works of Picasso and Francis Bacon as well as Abstract Expressionism through the works of Jason Pollock quite intriguing and. These artists were all pioneers and pushed the boundaries of art. I am compelled by an insatiable driving force to capture the essence of life. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a fascination for humanity and a deep longing for sensuality. People describe me a modern Day Saul Leiter… haha I wish!
That said I am a great admirer of his work and it heavily shapes how I see the world. That said, I do, however, admire the works of some other great photographers like Pinkhassov, Trent Parke, Fan Ho, Ernst Haas, Fred Herzog, and Marvin E Newman. They inspire me to be a better Photographer. I have also been commissioned for a number of commercial projects, one of which was being one of eight photographers around the world to be a part of the Autumn Winter campaign for Timberland. I have also produced work for Next the fashion retailer as well as a number of Media Agencies on specific project related to urban and street photography.
