Shadow and backlight. The world being only differences, the simple moments of life must be immortalized through a photograph, naturally without artifice. Far from being a hold-up, it is there, the mission of the street photographer, that to testify of the ephemeral at the moment of the click. It is this vision of photography that I love, by the homage it gives to the subject, alive or inert, to anchor the proof of its existence.
Through this approach, I try to goad the eye, to force to go further than the first visual. In short, do not hastily conclude that everything is in the field of beauty or ugliness, youth or old age, past or future, but simply a present moment, which deserves attention.
When one of my photos shapes the human being and things through the magic of shadow and backlight to give them a particular poetry, I feel that I have achieved my goal. The individual is then endowed with all the mysteries while the simple object is magnified. From then on, the imagination can take the power to know if the shadow has its own existence or if the backlighting is the dark side of each of us?
