High School Football 1978-1982 | In the early Summer of 1978 my wife and I bought our first house in the small town of South Lyon Michigan, a little north of Ann Arbor where we both worked. Late that Summer I took note of the enthusiasm and pride the town expressed toward the local high school football team. On a Friday night, after a week at my day job, I decided to investigate what the hoopla was about, and went to a game with my rangefinder camera, wide-angle lens and strobe. I wound up going to many games, in my town and surrounding small towns, for the next 5 years.
