Eyeshot Magazine
Street Fashion #4
29,00€
In this issue, editor-in-chief and curator Marco Savarese invites five distinguished artists to share their insights on the intersection of street photography and fashion. Through their responses, we delve into a multifaceted narrative that encompasses trends, excesses, and cultural and social disparities found on urban catwalks worldwide.
The featured artists – Suzan Pektaş, Graciela Magnoni, Gustavo Minas, Tavepong Pratoomwong, and David Gibson – showcase a side of fashion that transcends haute couture, yet remains connected to the mechanisms of the Fashion System. According to these “guest photographers”, Street Fashion resembles an unconventional Fashion Week, devoid of red carpets and celebrities. Their unique perspectives provide a fresh take on the world of street photography and the way it intersects with the fashion industry.
We are proud to dedicate two sections of this issue to the winners of the London Street Photography Festival and Australia’s International Photography Festival, both of which are partnered with Eyeshot. Through these features, we aim to celebrate the remarkable talent and artistry of street photographers around the globe.
Eyeshot “Street Fashion” is a limited-edition print run of 500 hand-numbered and autographed copies, emphasizing both the exclusivity and the essence of our brand. Printed on high-quality Fedrigoni X-PER paper, the magazine measures 21×27 cm and a total of 188 pages featuring 130 street photographers. The striking front cover, by Graciela Magnoni, sets the tone for this fascinating exploration of street fashion, while the opening text by Veronica Gabbuti further enriching the reader’s experience.
