Women in green dresses and yellow headscarves walk past a bright green wall, in a color photograph by Graciela Magnoni.

Graciela Magnoni joins Eyeshot 50mm to unpack street photography as a method, not a label. From meeting Sebastião Salgado at 17 to working with a journalist’s press-pass mindset, Graciela talks about freedom vs. entitlement, female gaze, how to avoid superficial storytelling when photographing cultures that aren’t yours, and why stereotypes are hardest to escape. We also go deep on serendipity: not romance, but discipline, skill, and the ability not to miss the moment. We close on the uncomfortable present: social media’s role in street photography, iPhone culture, virality vs. quality, and the idea that “you don’t have to be a photographer. You are.”
