“Street Weather” brings together Margarita Mavromichalis’s street photography as a coherent visual language shaped across different cities, cultures, and public spaces. Rather than focusing on one place or one isolated body of work, the project reveals the consistency of her gaze: a way of seeing that moves through diverse geographies while remaining unmistakably her own. Across the book, Margarita Mavromichalis, winner in the series category of the Eyeshot Open Call 2025, offers a street photography that is both observant and intuitive, precise and open, playful and unsettling. The result is a body of work in which the street appears not as a fixed stage, but as a breathing, unstable field of encounters.

Made to last

Materials

We choose every material for what it gives the photographs, and for what it leaves behind. Every page, cover, and endpaper is paper made in Italy by Fedrigoni, founded in Verona in 1888: it gives us the print quality we want and the environmental guarantees we will not do without, and we pay more for both.

Papers

InteriorSymbol Tatami, 150 g/m², matt coated. 30% more body than ordinary coated stock and 97% opacity: the blacks stay deep, and no image shows through from the page behind.
CoverBagassa, 120 g/m², uncoated. At least 70% bagasse, the fibre left from sugarcane once the sugar has been pressed out.
EndpapersSirio Color Black, 140 g/m². Dyed through the pulp with lightfast pigments, so it stays black for decades.

Standards

FSC® MixAll three papers: fibre from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources.
No elemental chlorineAll three papers: pulp bleached without elemental chlorine (ECF).
Acid freeInterior and endpapers, Long Life certified: the pages will not yellow or turn brittle.
RecyclableAll three papers: every paper in the book can be recycled at the end of its life.
PapermakerFedrigoni, rated Platinum by EcoVadis (top 1% of its industry) and on the CDP A List for climate, 2025.
